Heart Rocks
August 25th, 2009 | Author: Kim Finding heart rocks at the beach My granddaughters are still here from Texas and yesterday I taught them how to allow heart rocks to show up in their lives. We took a walk on the beach and I told them how everytime I go there I stop, look down at my feet and feel the joy of seeing the heart shaped rock that God sends me. This has been happening for me for a few years now. Jasmine is 7 and Maaliyah is 5 – at first they just did not see the heart rock before them. Then I asked them to just walk with me and watch how it worked, with absolute confidence I took a few steps and looked down and sure enough there was a heart shaped rock at my feet. The girls still had a bit of trouble, so I told them to just tell God to please show them a heart rock. They started seeing them slowly at first and the rocks were not exactly perfect (not puffy rocks as Jasmine liked to say), then as they started understanding and getting clear about what they wanted the rocks started turning up more perfect. I explained to the girls that the less perfect rocks were ones that were “signs of land,” leading them to what they really wanted. They are teaching me to play everyday, to eat regular meals on time with fruit and vegetables, to read a story before going to bed, to pray before we eat, to smile and laugh… I am so...

November 7, 2010 I have been on a journey of awakening and have discovered the truth for me. **************************************************************************** The following scripture is from the English Standard Version of the Bible: The Truth Will Set You Free – John 8:31f 31So Jesus said to the Jews who had believed in him, “If you abide in my word, you are truly my disciples, 32and you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.” 33They answered him, “We are offspring of Abraham and have never been enslaved to anyone. How is it that you say, ‘You will become free’?” **************************************************************************** There are times in our lives when we are prisoners and don’t even realize it – we allow ourselves to be enslaved. I have been in a prison of my own choosing for quite some time. As I have been on this spiritual journey I could not see the truth and I was not free. When I was growing up I would spend time talking with God – I clearly remember standing on a fence at my Grandparents farm looking in the woods and talking with God. I may have been 10 or 12, I don’t recall. I was very happy and peaceful, my life was magical in every way. As I grew older I spent less and less time talking with God. Most of the time I was just living in survival mode not seeing what was missing in my life. Driving down the road recently I asked God to be more involved in my life (as if he had gone anywhere – LOL). “Dear Lord I am hoping that you might make this simple and I won’t have to go through something dreadful to be closer to you, please. Amen” It is humbling to realize that my creator is always in my life, everywhere, in every way, all the time… I stopped thinking that I had all the answers and that I even needed to. I started relying on God for answers and what showed up was this never-ending path of events and things that came my way before I even knew I needed it. Anything that was required for me was given to me before I knew why. One of the most valuable lessons I learned is this, the TRUTH will set you free. Here is a great example of that: I have been working on a new project, it is rather large and has consumed my time almost exclusively for the last two months. To the point that I stopped looking for any new clients to build websites or do publishing or anything that I usually do to make money. I really was not paying much attention to the fact that I didn’t have any money coming in (silly, right?). My accounts receivable dried up, except for some large accounts that are not able to pay me yet due to the economy and I was left with an empty bank account and no quick way to put more in. My car insurance was late and now due and no income to pay it, so I just kept on working on the new project knowing that eventually money would be there from the project. In the mean time my car insurance was canceled, ouch! At first I panicked, this was bad. Then I took a deep breath (remembered my favorite light switch; “be still and know that I am God…” Psalms 46:10 – flipped the switch…) and ask God what I should do about that. The answer was immediate, it is not wrong not to...

I returned to Erie on Valentines Day. I am grateful that I was able to play the game… ‘let’s go the the Super Bowl!’ You might say that I did not win the game (we were not able to pull everything together and make it happen) or maybe with all the hoopla surrounding the Dallas event, you might say that we did win. I have always jumped in with both feet to attempt what I think of as worthy endeavors – they may also be called ‘the game of life.’ In the game you may win or you may lose – it is just sooo much fun to play the game that it makes it worth while. That being said… I lost this one (or did I?!?!) *************************************************************************************************** So I probably have some catching up to do… I am anchored in Dallas, TX right now. Missing the Erie winter (I know, so sad…) and really missing my David. So why am I in Dallas you ask? I am “on the ground” getting ready for the Super Bowl. During CEO Space 1210 in Las Vegas I connected with DaRayl Davis who is the Founder of Affluent for Life Academy. AFL is holding the Affluent for Life Super Bowl Summit this year in Dallas. They are the official sponsor of the NFL Players Association Events for the SB. I was headed to Dallas anyway to visit my family, so I offered to help. The big plus for me is that I will get to “pitch” EverWarm Products to the NFL Players during the events! So I get to help be a part of the Super Bowl experience and I get to work on my new business, how cool is that! The other day the girls (Jasmine and Maaliyah) and I went for a walk on the trails near the Cowboys Stadium and had a wonderful time. It really is a neat place, so many trails, walkways, bridges, etc. A nice walk if you have to park far away from the stadium. Dallas really has it together when it comes to entertainment; very close to the Dallas Cowboys Stadium is the Rangers Complex and even Six Flags over Texas! Looks like they would never run out of parking unless, football, baseball and roller coasters all happen at the same time. There is so much happening that I will have to break up my stories I guess. For now, just wanted you to know where I was....
